Overview

Located in Lewisville, Texas, Crazy King Burrito stands out as a hidden gem for those craving authentic, hearty Mexican fare. This unassuming spot off State Highway 121 offers a focused menu centered around burritos, bowls, and classic sides such as creamy queso, fresh guacamole, and flavorful bean dips. The highlight here is undoubtedly their burritos, available in satisfying sizes that cater to all appetites—from the modest Chico to the generously packed Super.

Crazy King Burrito’s main dishes boast generous portions, often described by diners as “crazy big,” ensuring you leave fully satisfied. The Texas King burrito and its bowl variation bring together tender, fresh ingredients without the heavy grease or over-seasoning sometimes found at similar eateries. While some customers found the asada lacking in punch, the overall consensus celebrates the freshness and balance across much of the menu. Ingredients like avocado, tomato, and freshly squeezed lime highlight their guacamole, while the house-made salsas—especially La Diablo—deliver a memorable kick that complements any order.

The atmosphere at Crazy King Burrito reflects its “hole-in-the-wall” charm. It’s a clean, no-frills space where the emphasis is squarely on the food, accompanied by attentive and friendly staff who offer helpful suggestions to newcomers. The quiet ambiance might feel unusual to some, lacking background music or bustling chatter, but it lends a cozy, inviting vibe perfect for casual lunches or relaxed dinners.

This restaurant targets a wide audience, from hungry local workers looking for quick, filling meals to families seeking authentic Mexican flavors in an uncluttered setting. While the portions lean towards the generous side, the absence of a kid-sized option may be a consideration for families with younger children. Nonetheless, the balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and well-crafted accompaniments like thick, crispy chips elevate the experience.

In summary, Crazy King Burrito offers an honest taste of Texas-style Mexican cuisine with commendable portion sizes, fresh preparation, and standout salsas that keep customers returning. Whether craving a stuffed burrito or a hearty bowl, this Lewisville spot provides a satisfying meal with a friendly touch in a clean and straightforward environment.

Ordered the asada burrito. The burrito is big. I wasn't crazy about the meat. I personally prefer steak strips than ground beef. The meat was a bit bland. Their salsas are good. It's a nice little restaurant, very clean. The staff was friendly. We did order a 2nd burrito, but I did not try it or remember what it was.

Crazy King Burrito is a gem hidden in plain sight with hole-in-the-wall vibes! Delicious and authentic flavors with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Not too greasy, not overly salted or processed - everything was fresh and tender. Chips were thick and crispy, not overly oily. Recommend the guacamole and horchata! Will definitely visit again and bring friends and family. Order the Chico size if you’re hungry and the Super if you’re extra hungry

The atmosphere wasn't what I expected there was no music, no talking just silence. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. The portion sizes are CRAZY BIG! I just wish they would add a kids size with a kid price. The salsas were PHENOMENAL La Diablo is the BEST! I got the Asada burrito it was very filling but not flavorful. I was waiting on the wow factor and it never came. I'll have to go again one day and try something different.

My husband and I both had the #8 burrito with shrimp and steak—so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chips and queso were awesome, definitely a must-try! The atmosphere has a great vibe, cozy and inviting. We’ll definitely be back!

Decided to stop here for lunch before our movie, and it turned out to be an excellent idea. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The queso was recommended and did not disappoint and was served with fresh tortilla chips. I had the #2 Asada chico (small) and the portion was very generous. Also ordered Texas King in bowl which was also very generous. Both were well seasoned. Highly recommend

Great food in a casual but cozy atmosphere. Nice decor that makes it a step above the typical "order at the bar" place. Friendly staff offer great service. There's nothing small about the "chico" burritos. The king size must be huge. Lots of variety, great flavors. The salsas are great (on the spicy side). Great value.
